Job readiness training is open only to residents in the programs. Clients are prepared to re-enter the job market in the general labor field. They received training in operating semi-heavy equipment under the auspices of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) safety program.
As a recipient of the Eliminate Digital Divide Grant, Brothers Keeper cRc is able to provide free computer training to residents in the program as well as to the community. Microsoft Office Suite Training and job search over the Internet are available to participants. Computerized tutoring programs in math and reading are available to youths.
